  • CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Selected first overall by the Blackhawks in the 2007 draft, Kane won the Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year after collecting 21 goals, 51 assists and 72 points. He broke Chicago’s rookie record for assists in a season and shared the NHL lead with seven shootout goals. Kane ranked second on the Blackhawks with 70 points last season, including a team-best 35 on the power play. Became the third-youngest player in playoff history to record a hat trick, doing so in a 7-5 win over Vancouver in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals. Finished with five goals and four assists for Team USA’s bronze-medal club at the World Junior Championship in 2007. Set a record for points in a season (102) in 2005-06 with the U.S. National Under-18 team.
